Established in 1991, Formula Scaffolding is one of the leading Scaffolding Contractors in the South of England.
On March 1st 2006 we were granted membership to the NASC (National Access & Scaffolding Confederation). We are members of CHAS (The Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme), ConstructionLine and BSI (The British Standards Institution).
Our fully qualified permanent workforce is extensively experienced in every aspect of scaffolding and all hold their CISRS Scaffolding & CSCS Health and Safety cards.
We supply scaffolding within the Industrial, Commercial, Domestic, Historic and the Marine sector.
Our knowledge and expertise in all aspects of scaffolding has enabled our clients over many years to be able to access, support or enclose 1000’s of structures large and small.
We take care of our client’s requirements in a professional manner from conception to dismantle, including design calculations, risk assessments and method statements, scaffold erection, weekly inspections and scaffold dismantle.
All the above are carried out by our own qualified and directly employed staff.

Scaffolding Design
As from 6th April , 2005 the work at height regulations came into force, with regard to scaffolding this means:
“A scaffold must either be erected to a recognised standard configuration, such as those in National Access and Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) document TG20 Volume 1 for tube and fitting scaffolds, or the manufacturers’ guidance for system scaffolds, or it must be designed by calculation to ensure it has adequate strength and stability.”

Through our technical director, we are able to offer the in house ability to carry out these design requirements with the ability to produce calculations and drawings where necessary.
